Precision collaborates with Georgia Southern

Precision Concrete Construction was proud to host a group of 35 students from Georgia Southern University’s Construction Management program.  A former Georgia Southern graduate himself, Project Manager Matt Harvell brought the group of students to Waycross, GA to take a tour of the Georgia Biomass wood pellet plant.  Precision is self performing all facets of the concrete work on this large industrial project where approximately 20,000 yards will be poured from May-October.  The students are attending Dr. Wei Wu’s Construction Materials class.  Not only did the students get to see concrete work in progress, they also were able to view the on site concrete batch plant, the on site concrete testing laboratory and a number of pieces of large process equipment that has been installed to date.  We wish all of these students good luck in finishing classes and entering into the industry upon graduation.
